As an Associate Attorney at HLBS, Will’s practice involves customer dispute and U5 termination expungement cases. In his career so far, Will has grown his legal skillset working in public service and private
practice. He started his legal career at a nonprofit legal services organization providing much-needed legal assistance.
Will started handling arbitrations recently in FINRA, which has different nuances and variations compared to the normal forum Will practices in. Will has been able to easily adapt to the occasion and in October successfully litigated two FINRA arbitration hearings. Both cases had two customer dispute disclosures, and both received an award recommending expungement based on the evidence presented by Will and the testimony of our clients.
In December, Will faced a more challenging case in today’s changing regulatory landscape, a customer dispute case with six disclosures, which had a much longer hearing to present the evidence in favor of expungement. In addition, with six different customers, there is more room for customers to appear at the hearing, and more evidence in which the respondent or the arbitrator can potentially ask questions. However, Will did a great job because the arbitrator issued an award recommending expungement on all six disclosures just prior to Christmas.
In addition to Will stepping up and helping HLBS and our clients, Will recently celebrated his two-year work anniversary with HLBS.
Huge thanks to Will and all he does for the team and his clients!
